Dive 002: Fill in the Blanks (Video/Action)

[Sora had been trying to follow Riku's advice for days. Not stressing over forgetting people here and for not remembering Luceti at all. For the passed few days he managed that. He is having a good time and making new friends. Honestly, he almost felt like he couldn't have a care in the world. 

But it was becoming too much. The longer he stayed here, he felt like he really had been here before. Of course he didn't remember anything. In his head he knew he didn't know Luceti but in his heart it felt like this place had been very real to him at one point. It's the same for the people he didn't know. They have been coming up to him saying they were glad he was back. All Sora can do is keep apologizing for not remembering. It hurt. For him and probably for the people he forgot.

So he's gone on the journal being able to figure out how to get a video on all by himself now. He sits there on his bed at the welcome center looking down at the book. Anyone seeing him could tell he looked very upset but these words have to be said.]

Hey everyone, It's Sora.

[There's a pause now. Taking a breathe he continues.]

I'm Sorry. I know everyone keeps telling me I've been here but I just don't remember. But the thing is...It feels like my heart remembers what I felt but I can't remember anyone's face or name. I can't even remember any of the good times I had together with the people here.

[So he's going to be sounding a little desperate here.]

So come on! If you knew me while I was here and we were friends, tell me! I don't want you to think that I won't talk to you.

[He hangs his head with a sigh. He could almost cry with this. Heck, the tears he's holding back are really stinging.]

Action

[Sora has found a tree to lie under, as he stares up at the sky. If he's staying here he may as well do something. There's so many things he wants to do and has to do. For one he needs to find a house of some form to live in because it's doubtful that he can keep mooching off the welcome center. Second thing is is what he was going to do with his time here. Maybe he should write a journal like Jiminy, so just in case he did forget again and came back he'd have something to remind himself.

However, if someone comes by later in the afternoon, Sora will be snoozing away the afternoon. Sleeping is his best skill after all]

[ By the time Aqua's recuperated, she's wandering around to see if anything's changed from the time she was in the village last. So far, she's noticed a few new people and greeted them.

Though, when she notices Sora, she tilts her head and walks over to him before leaning over him like she would with Ven. ]

Hey, are you new here? I'm Aqua.

WHOA!

[What's with people doing that to him when he's lying down. Instantly sitting up, he looks up at the girl who's in front of him. And he just stares for a few moments. When he realizes she's told him her name he speaks.]

I'm Sora.

[ action ] I'm fine with them, so go ahead.

[ That will garner a chuckle from her and she gives him his space to recover if needed. ]

Sora, huh? I'm pleased to meet you.

Yotsuba doesn't know you, we won't talk.

[She completely misunderstood that message and took it the wrong way. A stranger doesn't want to talk to her. That's awful! Yotsuba hands her head and looks all down in the dumps over this.]

Huh? Oh, you can talk to me! I don't mind making new friends. I actually like to make them!

[Sora's gotten all flustered now at making this poor girl sad but he's doing his best now to put on a happy face.]

Ohhh, so you like friends. Can Yotsuba be a friend so we can talk? [...] Your hair is pointy.

[Just an observation thrown in there amongst the friend-making.]

[It's late in the afternoon when Belle almost strolls by Sora's tree. That is, until she notices him napping under the tree. Being that it's not the greatest place to leave someone sleeping, she drops to her knees next to him and gently shakes his shoulder.]

[Sora is soon roused awake by the shaking. Mumbling out a little 'huh?' He turns his head towards the person who woke him. Being half asleep makes him not realize who it is.]

Did I miss making the raft?

[This causes Belle to giggle and shake her head.]

I don't know anything about raft making. But this isn't a comfortable place for sleeping, I'm sure.

[Oswald, being a big softy on the inside, just can't ignore this plea.]

Friends, huh? I wouldn't say we were pals before, but we've talked a couple times. There's nothing stopping us from being pals now, anyway.

That's true and it would be nice to make some new friends too.

[A sudden flock of panicked birds will fly over Sora's head as he's snoozing. If that doesn't wake him up, the fact that a lion cub tries to jump over him and instead bounces off his stomach, probably will.]

[Sora feels the weight of something hit his stomach and he lurches forward. What had awakened him from his beautiful nap? Looking down he see's a little lion on his stomach. He's not too freaked out about that just the whole fact he was shocked into awakening.]

Uh, hey there.

[Action]

[Simba uses Sora's stomach as a spring board and tries to launch himself at the birds, swinging his paws wildly... but missing them all as they fly away. Darnit. But then he realizes someone is speaking and he cringes a little. That had been a person, hadn't it. He turns to look at the guy with an apologetic look.]

Oops. Sorry about that.

[And here will go Selphie strolling in Sora's general vicinity without a care in the world. Tra la la, everything is great and fine and then suddenly she's tripping over Sora.]

WHOOOOOA!

[And there would go Selphie, ass-over-biscuits.]

[Well Sora is waking up from that. Blinking he looks over to see the girl who just fell over.]

This was the only way I could think of that would get to everyone in Luceti.

[He's already kind of annoyed now. He didn't care if he sounded desperate. He wanted to meet those people again.]

[It wasn't unusual that a person would attempt to reconcile with friends in the event they returned to Luceti, she had attempted the same to some degree during this stay. But Sora's plea wasn't one she could ignore even if she had wanted to.]

... You once recruited me to hide with you in a fort built outside the bakery.

[Sora ponders for a moment. Yup, that sounded like him.]

Why did we do that?

[Sora... Sora... that name is so striking a chord over here. And his face is, too. Clearly this needs to be investigated.]

I don't think we've met before, but... you're really familiar. I wonder if we both forgot somehow.

[Oh hey it's some kid. Hearing the boy's voice...nope. There's nothing pinging in his heart. No sense of familiarity. Could he have actually completely forgotten a friend?]
