[Sora has been just sitting about, being rather bored. This town didn't really have anything the Island did and there didn't seem like much to do here. But he couldn't just sit around and do nothing. So instead, he springs to his feet. Extending his hand out, the keyblade appears in his hand in a shimmer of light. Today is a good time to practice! But if only he had something like a struggle bat. Oh well, what can he do? He soon see's you come by and smiles.]

[So, Sora decided to pick up this strange contraption called a phone. Of course they probably had them on his island, but they probably didn't use them much. After all, Sora's not what you'd call tech savvy.]

Hey everyone! What's up? I was wondering if anyone wanted to hang out today. I mean, being in Creepyfield isn't fun that much but it doesn't mean we shouldn't try to make the best of it, right?

[Sora has just regained something and is sitting on his front porch. He's clutching something in his hand and staring down at it. There seems to be a bit of sad look on his face as he holds it. It had been so long since he had been away from the Islands. He was wondering how all his friends were doing. Did they know that he was gone? The last thing he wanted to do was make any of them sad. Especially, his most important person. He's trying his best not to cry, but it's beginning to look like he will.]

Hey... is everything alright?

[OH HEY BOY THAT SORA KIND OF ATE! HOW ARE YOU!?]

Huh? Oh, it's nothing. Just thinking of home is all.

[He tilts his head curiously at Ven.]

Roxas?

[Ven just about stops in his tracks, his brow furrowing tight. He knew that voice. Where did he know that voice from...?

OH WELL WHATEVER, IT'S PROBABLY NOT IMPORTANT, RIGHT?]

No, my name's Ventus! But you can call me Ven!

[Ven...Sora's heard that name before, hasn't he? No...it was more like a feeling that he knew it.

BUT YUP, TOTALLY NOT IMPORTANT!]

Ven, huh? It's nice to meet ya.

[Why yes, he did just say your name even though you have yet to introduce yourself. WEIRD.]

[Sora grins back, taking the hand given to him and shaking it. But he's going to pause for a minute. Sora? How'd he know his name? He didn't remember telling Ven it.]

Do we....know each other?

[Wait what did he just say?

Sora...

Sora, Sora, Sora... Why does he know this name?

Ven looks just as confused as he does. He rubs the back of his neck awkwardly as he thinks.]

I... I don't think so, no.

Than how come you know my name?

[Sora's just a little bit suspicious. This kid doesn't seem bad or anything...just it's a little weird.]

[Yeah, no kidding.]

That's your name? Sora?

[what is going on HOW DOES HE DEAL WITH THIS??]

I'm not sure how I know it, I just... do. It's weird, your voice sounds really familiar, too. I feel like I should know you.

[Sora tilts his head curiously. Well Ven had just said it.]

Yeah...

[But hearing Ven's explanation, he kind of understands. It's like he should know Ven too.]

No, I know what you mean....it feels like I should know you too. It's like...meeting an old friend you haven't spoken too in a long time, you know?

[He smiles, nodding a bit.]

Yeah, exactly!

[Well, glad they settled that.]

It is kind of weird though, huh?

[But who cares. Not like it's anything important or anything.]

So, how long have you been here, Ven?

Kind of, but I'm sure we'll be able to figure it out eventually!

[But that'll be later! It's no big deal.

He taps his chin in thought.]

I've been here for a couple of weeks now. What about you?

Yeah, I'm sure of it.

[Hmmm, Sora is strongly reminded of Someone listening to Ven, but whoooo?]

Same and just when I finally got back home too.

[Not that he minds...sort of. After all, he was going to leave again to go fix people who had been suffering. WHOEVER THEY ARE.]

[HMM. I WONDER?]

Destiny Islands, right?

[He says it before he can stop himself. He didn't really notice that he was saying it at all. It felt natural, like there was nothing weird about knowing where this boy lived. This boy who he just met.]

[OKAY, REALLY SUSPICIOUS! Sora raises an eyebrow, looking at Ven. How did that kid know this? Sure, there was a feeling there like this boy was an old friend, but it didn't make it any less weird.]

How'd you know I lived on an island?

[Unless...]

Did you live there before?

How... how did I know that?

[His brows furrow tight and he scratches at the side of his face a little.]

No, but...

[Was he there...?

A dull ache starts gnawing at him and he grimaces a bit, ducking his head down a little and grabbing the side of it with his hand.

Why couldn't he remember? Think, Ven, think!]

I think I was there before.

Ven? Are you okay?

[Sora gets up, to look at the boy who is clutching at his head. But indeed, how did he know that? Sora is just as curious. But hearing that the boy was there before he tilts his head.]

So, does that mean you're from another world?

[Because Sora has never seen this boy in his life, living on the island that is.]

[He's quiet for a moment, taking deep breaths as the ache slowly begins to fade. As soon as it's gone he looks up, offering a reassuring smile.]

Yeah. Yeah, I'm ok, thanks.

[he nods in response to Sora's next question.]

That's right. I don't... I don't really know where I'm from originally, but right now I live in the Land of Departure.

[Or well... he did.]

[Sora nods slowly. Still a bit unsure if Ven's really okay.]

If you're sure...

[So Ven was from another world. Interesting. But he didn't remember anything of his homeorld?]

You don't? That's kind of sad...that's kind of like Kairi.

[He shakes his head though. He's being depressing.]

Land of Departure? Never heard of it. What's it like?
